I just found this blog through employee evolution (which I found in turn from Brazeen Careerist). I like the Follow the Leader series. Great and very insightful. I may try and do something to that effect for young Philippine Leaders now. Thanks for the inspiration Rebecca!

And to Sam — I like your advice on never turning down an invitation to meet someone, to grab coffee or have lunch. Good insight.

@ Elysa - I like learning from everyone’s differences as well. I thought Sam’s point about Generation Y being creators was quite relevant. In my organization, people are always wanting to do something more. When they are sitting around it’s a well-deserved break!

I love your new series Rebecca. I am of the belief that if you ask 8 people for advice you will get 8 different opinions, yet I love collecting everyone’s different view points. I find it quite fascinating to see what bits of insight people provide when given a limited q&a session. I would agree with Sam that we are very much a generation of creators.

This was a great Personal Brand assessment. I know understand who Sam is, what his values are and what he seeks to accomplish with his site. It’s good that you mentioned both his professional and personal life and how they intertwine.
